Opinion or Advice?

I think I tend to respond when asked for advice rather than an opinion, because if someone does not choose to take my advice, that is okay, but if they argue with my opinion, my feelings could be hurt. This is an interesting thing to think about.

I think i do both. I don't disclose myself to replying only to give advices or only to share personal preference and opinion. It will always depend on the matter of post. If the posts needs advice and I have an advice to share or I can help her with the problem he/she have, I would be willing to response. If the post would asked for my personal preference or opinion, I would likely response too if I do think I know how to reply and I will not be lost as to replying that certain post. But I am not good as to giving advises that is most of my responses are from posts that ask for personal preference and opinion.

Yeah as far as I am concerned my oppinion is what counts, when am coming out to advise on an issue, my oppinion will always constitute the backgound of my advice, infact, the advice will be carefully subsumed in my oppinion!

I personally like to go ahead and answer both kinds, but it really doesn't matter to me. I think that I naturally tend to go for the opinion and preference questions though. I have never been too comfortable giving advice. I like to tell people what has happened and what I have been through and if they choose to take that as advice, it's on them. However, I think that when people ask me what is going on, I can definitely do that pretty easily.

Actually it doesn't matter to me. If it is asking for advice on something that I have knowledge on, I will give my advice. And I have plenty of opinions to share, so I share those as well!!!

I do not limit myself to any type.I just respond to any discussion that appeals me like this one.

I really just answer any that I come across because If it is something that I know about I am more than willing to help people by telling them what to do to solve their problems! I also like the ones that ask for my opinion because it gives me a chance to tell people my opinion on something that they might ask and then that might help them make their decision on whatever it is their asking about! I really just like asking and answering questions on here because I really do like helping people whenever I can do so!!
