That's true. My mother had some problems with her hair some years ago, the hair was falling out and no medicine could help her. So she heard about the above thing and tried it out. And it really helped. I do not know if I would try but if it's helps, why not?

This practice was once very popular for sometimes many years ago. Though I was told to take one’s own first pee in the morning was good for our health I still dared not to try even once. I felt it was weird and disgusting to take my own pee. One was advised to take less meat but more vegetables and fruits if he wanted to try out this method as the pee in the following morning would be more effective for this purpose.

Thank you lynnchua, for selecting mine as the best response.
I do have the same feeling that it’s quite weird to drink one’s own urine. Yeah, it’s quite difficult for the young generation to accept this nowadays.
This is a nice topic indeed so I would like to add a little bit more about taking own pee here. I had read the news about a victim in the quake in Sichuan China earlier. He drank his own pee to maintain his life while he was being trapped in the ruins. He then could survive and keep on waiting for the rescue team to save him out from the collapsed building.
and with best wishes.

YIKES!!!! That's unimaginable. I won't drink my pee. If it's true that it will cure cancer, then the statistics will tell.

hmm, the liver cleanse our blood and secrete the dirt in your pee. now, if you will drink that, the liver's job the first time would have been in vain. and in time, your liver will be exhausted and it will give up.. resulting to kidney failure. i don't think that's a risk i'm willing to take.

LOL Urine is the left overs of what your body can't use and a way to eliminate toxins from the body. The quacks that say that it has any healthy qualities are the ones that are giving everyone the wrong idea. Would you clean up dirt off the floor then eat it? How about poo? Poo is the solid version f urine - it's the stuff your body can't use, has processed or the toxins in your system that your body doesn't need. I'll have a V8 instead.

Naturally I am skeptical as it seems pretty counterintuitive to me. I always thought that if you re-ingest something that came out of your body that it would really make you sick... at least I have heard that. I never heard of drinking pee making anyone healthy so honestly this claim sounds pretty weird. Unless it's been scientifically proven, I personally would not try it... unless I was on my "last wing and prayer."

Hi,
Why not if it is required as a medicine it is good and good for health. There are medicines which are bitter than pee. In India there are people who make medicines with urines especially the urine of camel is more used. Late Prime Minister of India Sri.Moraji Desai openly admitted that he drinks his pee also lived healthy life for more than 90 years I had also read in a magazine that during the 2nd World War a German soldier has to stay underground without food and only consumption that soldier had is his pee. Later he continued and even after age of 80 he was still healthy. I had also consumed my pee that too morning pee and observed the change in myself feeling more refreshed. Later I discontinued it as it is to consumed while our body is healthy.

Hi sharmrack. You do need courage to drink your own pee. I know that people in India and China do believe that drinking of pee do make them healthy but I still feel surprise when you said that even the late Prime Minister of India did that too.

No, id not drink my own piss regardless of who said its good to do, since theres got to be a reason we pee at all. I dont believe it either since it feels like theres been such a panic thing about cancer, id stopped to listen to them unless they come with some stuff they can back up with some hard evidence.

wow. that sounds horrible. especially your morning pee, thats the worst. i wouldn't drink it. i don't care if it really did make me free from cancer. the only time i wouldn't drink it is if my life depended on it, like if i was stranded somewhere and i was going to die if i didn't have any fluids in me.

I would not drink my own urine unless there was substantial evidence backing up the claim that it could keep you cancer-free. I don't see how urine could do that though, since it is just waste that the body needs to get rid of after extracting all the useful nutrients.

Ive read that also, but if they believe on it and it really did cure then it is good. Ive discuss this before, the morning pee is good before talking a bath. Instead of heating water or using heater you can use your pee to bath your body, of course you will use clear water after your bath. Also it is also good for arthritis and gout. Just use your pee in the morning and wash your affected hands or feet with your pee and it will help cure the pain.

It really depends on the situation. If it really makes me healthy. Or if there is no water or any form of drinks around. And it is the only means to survive. hen perhaps, I will. But I will muster enough strength first.
