Long Lost Friend (online) Re-appeared!

I am so happy today because a long lost online friend made his re-appearance! He sent me an email some time ago that he was very sick and even though I haven't really met this person in real, I treated him as a good friend as we had a lot of things in common and we had some really meaningful conversation. I hadn't heard from him for two months and I was worried about his health! I am so glad that he is still alive and indeed, it's a good surprise to me for today.
What about you? Do you have any online friends disappeared all of a sudden and then bring you joy when they re-appear?

I am happy for you. I have few friends here that I have not heard of for many months. I do hope to hear from one guy, an old and sick man (from the conversation, I got to know that he has cancer) He changed his user name once and always respond to me but not now anymore. I do hope he is alright. Do you mind telling me your online friend who suddenly re-appeared? Maybe we are talking about the same person *sighs*

I don't know him around here, I know him in some of the social networking site. Therefore I wonder if he is on here too! Maybe you tell me your friend's user name and let's see if it's the same person *laughs*. My friend had cancer too and he went through chemo.

Hello wondericequeen,
He was using vmks31 before but he changed it to vmks07 (if I am not mistaken) due to a problem logging in here. I am not too sure why he is inactive now. Maybe he is busy with his real life and family. In fact, he was quite active responding to others whenever he's around. I hope everything goes well for him.

It's great news that your friend is ok!
I do have a friend online who I've not met but been friends with for like 9 years. She's older and has a lot of health problems so when I don't hear from her I worry a lot. Then all of a sudden she'll send me a card or a letter in the mail or drop me an email and I get so relieved to know that she's ok.

True! It scares me when I suddenly don't hear someone when that person has a lot of health problem! I am so glad he is fine, yet, I worry from time to time too!

Yes I would definitely love to keep this friend because it's rare to find someone who can be called friends nowadays! Hopefully someone will surprise you soon! *smiles*
