I have no idea what it is from. I thought it might be growing pains but it is in her hips and is a constant pain when she moves...It might have been the way she was sleeping last night. But i gave her some ibuphen and sent her on her way. Hopefully it won't ge worse and will get better!!!!What do you guys think?

is this something out of the blue? or has she been suffering lately? i was wondering if she could have gotten hurt during gym or if there is a history of arthritis in your family...wait a few days, then check it out.

Well i was starting to wonder what they did in gym yesterday because if it was something new that might be it, but i will have to ask her when she gets home at lunch. I hate it when they are in pain!!!But if it is from gym then that is understandable!!!!

The most common cause of pain and stiffness in the hip is wear and tear due to arthritis or bursitis. So make sure your child didn't get arthritis or bursitis first. Try to keep moving gently, resting her hip and leg whenever she can. Avoid activity that brings on pain or make it worse. Sleep on a firm mattress. Try not to lie on the hip.

The thing is she is only 7. But she seems better today I think she just strained her muscles some how the day before yesterday. Thanks for your input tho!!
