go to church on sunday and steal on monday

People who lie, and cheat others then they go to church and get forgiven, how do they know they are forgiven, just because they asked, is that the only reason some people go to church. If god forgives the bad, then what about the good people who never have to asked, are they going to be rewarded for never doing anything bad.

I don't believe in a person who says he is a christian and deliberately steal what he does not own. It's true that God forgives but it is not the reason for someone to steal.
Every sin has always its consequences. It might be immediate or delayed but rest assured it will come!
