My ideal out would be just a fun girls night out. Round up a bunch of my friends, go out to dinner....no place with kids meals lol, then maybe go have a drink or two, catching up on what every one has been up to, maybe go somewhere where they play music. I haven't had a night out since my son was born 3 years ago...almost 4 if you count the pregnancy time, now I have a three month little girl, so it will probably a few more years til I have a night like that LOL. But that's ok...nights home with my babies are just fine :)

Aren't grandkids great!! I have eight, from ages 12 years to 3 months. We never did go out much, but for me a nice night out would be to a good restaurant and maybe a movie afterwards. Well, maybe the movie first so I don't fall asleep after all that good food!

night out? what the heck is a night out? LMAO
without the kids? these words are strange to me....
Well, I guess in June, when my wonderful man gets home I would love to have one of these "night's out" that you speak of. Hmmmm let me think.....
I've always wanted to go to a ballet or to one of those dinner theatre places.
But I suppose, money is still a matter, so I'd settle for using one of the gift cards that we got for x-mas to one of the local restaurants & to the movies.
Gosh, I love it when we just get to watch a movie on the couch together after the kids are asleep.... lol
..... night out.....

*LOL @ Kat* I know what you mean Sweetie. My & Hubby aren't going out people we are more conversitive. But didn't "night out" sound great. We haven't had one in years, and I guess me being sick the last week and having my grand daughter 24/7.. I am just wanting to get outta the house and away even if just for an hour of peace. Hell even your mention of a movie after the kids are in bed would be awesome, but even that in the house is un-doable. By time all the kids (I have a 19 year old, 20 year old, and a 14 year old, along with the 3 month old) are in bed, hubby is getting up for work and me to start my day.
