Lets get a little sentimental here. Do you remember the name of your very first crush? Not necessarily your first boyfriend or your first love, but rather your first crush. I remember mine. I was in the 4th grade and his name was Kenny. The crush I had on him made me want to attend Sunday school every week, just because he was there. So dig deep, get the old memory banks running and tell us who was your very first crush?

I was in 4th grade too. His name was Ryan. I remember we were learning constellations in school and on one of the tests we were asked to put down a constellation that we didn't answer a question about. I wrote mine as Oh Ryan!...ROFL.

My first crush was also in the 4th grade and his name was Travis. He was so cute!
He was also in my 5th and 6th grade class. The older he got though he grew out of those cute looks and I moved on to having crushes on others.

Darn, well at least he was cute for awhile, but better to find out early on that he wasn't going to remain that way. LOL.

I was in grade school. I don't remember his name though. I do remember that I used to walk home from school with him. I used to carry his books and anything else he needed carred. I was in the seventh grade. We would go out on the play ground and I would watch him if him and his friends happened to be playing a team game. I had a very hard crush on him.

Well, I guess so if you were carrying his books. Shouldn't he have been carrying yours?

I have too many crushes that I don't even remember their names. I guess I'm the type of person that can easily fall in love with a certain person even by just simply looking at the appearance. As far as I could remember, my first crush was when I was at 3rd grade. However, most of my class mates had also a crush on this person.

Thats ok, if everyone else had crushes on the same person, they don't have your memories.

Yes I remember. I was in 3rd grade. His name was Richie. We lived on the same block. We played with the same group of friends. When we were older we hung out together. Richie also cut our lawn. A few years later Richie was also my first kiss. So I am pretty fond of those memories.

hi kb I was in the fifth grade and he sat behin me. I thought
he was the cutest boy. His name was Jonathon Belton and
he actually was not a bit interested in me at all.But I
remember he was always borrowing pencils from me, and
making fun of me behind my back.oh the woes of a little
fifth grader. Here I thought he was really it and he
just made fun of me. I had not thought of that in years.
I also remember he and his older brother grew up to
be in trouble all the time and later were killed when
they stole a car and went off the road in the Black Hills.

I guess the long arm of karma has a way of taking care of things, but its still too bad that he was killed. He couldn't have been that bad though.

I have been waiting for a discussion like this.My first crush was Gloria. She was my classmate since the UKG.We used to exchange tattoo pictures.I used help in her drawing as I draw well and she used to give ideas about the designs to make as she was very creative. We boys used to own each girl to everyone of our fancy among ourselves.I still remember fighting with my friends rolling over the ground as he wanted Gloria as her girl friend. All these were when I was in the 5th grade.
And I think that it an inevitable part in everyone's life.

One that really stands out came when I was 9 years old. We used to go to swimming classes together. Even to this day when I hear certain songs from the year of my crush, she comes to mine, and the feelings I felt. I think it was love, rather than just a crush.

That's true. I'll never forget this girl. I pined for her and yet she paid littler attentio to me. Even now just saying her name has a strange effect; and then there are the songs. A few notes, and I am 9 again, back in my childhood neighbourhood in London.

I spent some of my childhood in London also. I was born in Northolt. My father was in the US Air Force and my mother is British, born in Bedford.

Wow, I'm going back nearly 30 years, but I'd have to say it was Chris. I thought he was the cutest boy on the bus! I was in 3rd grade and my friends thought I was nuts! Of course, that didn't last long--I met Shawn and he was a hottie! My latest 'crush' turned out to be interested in me too...and we've been seeing one another for over 4 years!

Yes, this one turned into 'love' (at least for me!) I can't even go a day (ok, more like every couple of hours) without thinking of him. And the funny thing is, the day I met him (actually looked at his face), it was like getting socked in the stomach--I KNEW he was the one!

I guess it turned out to be way more than a crush if it lasted 4 years. Sounds like it may just have turned into love.

Oh yeah when I was about in my grade school years I have this huge crush in one of these beautiful girl. At that time I really didn't understand what it is about I just felt happy seeing her face by then. My life suddenly went down when her parents decided to transfer her to another school. It took me sometime before I got attracted to another girl maybe it was two years later where I was already in my 6th grade already. My attraction to that girl was really hard on me that I was not able to really attracted to another girl at school.

My son is having the same problem. He is 11 and just experienced his first crush. He was living in California at the time, but recently has moved here to Phoenix to live with me and started school here. Not that I think he's nearly ready for a girlfriend, but I've heard him say he just doesn't like the girls here, like he liked the girl in California.

Yeah I do...I was a tomboy for the most part through grade school, not much into boys, but in middle school there was this set of twins in my 1st hour class, one of them was my very first crush!! He was the sweetest, most quiet boy.Unfortunately he was into skateboarding more than girls, but luckily he grew out of that some 15-16 years later...because now we are engaged to be married :)

We were in third grade learning "cursive." he sat right in front of me. His writing was long, and straight up and down. I copied it the best I could. His name was Vincent.
That's the only crush I remember until high school. He was a senior, very popular, involved in a lot of school activities. His name was Larry. I imagine he's a grandpa by now.

I would have a crush on any boy that practiced his cursive. LOL. Most men don't have very good penmanship. Too bad you never went out with Larry. Have you ever heard what happened to him?

No, never heard what happened to Larry. He didn't know I was even alive.
