Here is a story that I read on the website of the University of Washington.
It seems that some researchers have developed a contact lens with the potential to project a telephone display directly on to the retina.
The technology could allow any high-resolution image to be displayed in front of the eye. Eventually, games, documents and music collections could all be displayed in a user's field of vision.
This will be our future?

That would really be very innovative.
That would work so much for privacy purposes and also, maybe if that technology has the ability to be mass-produced, then everything would become much cheaper.
We no longer need monitors then.
However, I still want the old-school technology.

Oh my god! I want to get one of these when they are finally available. It sounds like one of the coolest things ever to be invented.
