They have been keeping us updated on tv all night. She was ahead most of the time and I never bite my nails but I was down to my knuckles! At one point it was very close and the next thing I knew she won! I really don't want to see her voted in as President. If it happened I would seriously think about moving to Canada just so I wouldn't be under her "thumb" which I feel she's going to do to the US citizens. She has some weird ideas to say the least. Not to mention I don't think this country is ready for a woman president. Looking at the results by state she actually took more than any of the other candidates democrats or republicans. She took 6 states!!! Isn't that a scary situation?

I was surprised to see her take TN as well. I guess more people are ready to have a woman president then a black man. I hate to put it so bluntly as that but that's just the debates I've been hearing here in TN. I've been rooting for Obama. But in all honesty it looks like McCain is going to be the winner for the republicans and I just have a really really bad feeling about him. I will absolutely not be voting for McCain.

I"m sorry but I would rather see an African American than a woman any day. Besides....he's only half black...lol...his mother is white so that should count for something.

I think we don't have a choice. Means, that after I figure it out that she is sponsored by Rockefeller, I have no more questions. I think that world financial Elite is making choices for us. Sad to say, they can do with electronic votes what they want. I have heard about one year ago, that Hillary is going to take it over. She belongs to the same secret club as Bush family. With recession and war, I am confused who I want to have for president. Promise and under deliver can ruin us again. I think that most people are confused. Many of my friends from NY is going to vote for her. I wish I know who I am going to vote for (dazed and confused)...

I don't look at candidate as woman of black...I look at people as proper leader for the country. Hillary is not having my votes for many reasons, non is related to her as a woman.

I have a feeling most of us are dazed and confused. If our choice is between a white woman and a black man who do you think will win? They just said on the news that she only won by 1% so that does give me some home. I'm getting to the point where I would rather see a Republican in the White House again.

I do not have the option of moving away. I am not against Hilary because she is a woman, but I do object to her as a Clinton. I think she reinvents the truth constantly, and I do not believe that she would be good for the country. It is not November yet.

Believe me it's not only the fact that she's a woman that I don't like her. I know my discussion sounded that way but I was too excited when I was writing to say everything I would like to have said. You are so right about her being a Clinton and the way she thinks. Not good for the US at all.

My fingers are definitely crossed and I'm looking towards a Rep. in the white house now. The lesser of two evils as far as I'm concerned.

I voted in Illinois today, for my man Obama of course. It is frightening to see Hillary win 6 states, but we knew it was coming. All Obama has to do is stay within 100 delegates of her to still have a shot. I'm trying not to stress about it. I know this is going to sound crazy but I think the weather is playing into alot of this. Tennessee is getting hit by some hellacious storms as is alot of the country. Shoot, we're looking at 13 inches of snow in 8 hours here. I think the US is ready for a woman, just not Hillary. She seems to be pulling out the fake tears alot lately. I wonder if she thinks that will work when we're negotiating with foreign countries?

Those tears are the reason we don't need a woman in the white house. Why can't people see that? I'm sure the weather isn't helping much in a lot of places.

I'm all for a woman president but I agree with you...hilary is pretty darn scary. I don't like her thinking at all and I'm amazed at how she is going so strong. I actually really liked John Edwards and am surprised that he didn't fare better. I think he gave up too quickly really.

I liked John Edwards too and think he would have had a good chance. I didn't read about why he gave up so fast but I'm sure he had his reasons.

I'm not surprised looking at the results. Its not over yet, as the west coast polls haven't closed. I can say this a lot of Californian's voted today. Its just to close at this point.

This morning their saying it's basically a tie and Obama has taken more states than they mentioned last night. The weather is probably having a lot to do with it.

The US is ready for a woman president...but that leaves Hillary out. She is not the person who should be in the white house and neither should Bill. I did not think she would get this far, it is scary.

I seriously didn't think she would make it this far either but with the affluent people behind her it was easy.

Don't worry my friend. I don't have anything against Democrats, but I don't think they have a chance in the fall. It looks like Obama has 6 states now too. It's just a split decision on this side of the fence right now.

I'm beginning to think you're right. We will end up with a Republican again and although it doesn't bother me to have an African American as president I don't think poor Obama has a chance and most Dems will vote Rep or not at all.

All I'm not worried Obama still has a chance trust me. He's not far behind Clinton its delegates that matters not the votes. If its between McCain and the inventor of truth Clinton.I'm throwing my vote. But my gut is telling me that Obama will make it out on top.

So who do you want as president then?

Right now i dont think that is has anything to do with wether shes a woman and obama is black. i think it more has to do with obama, refusing to say the pledge of alegance, or not wearing a flag pendant on his suit, and his middle name is huesein, LMAO. but what do i know i am only one person. and i myself would have liked to keep up with the campainging and everything but i got lost in it all with home situations and all. i dont believe i will be voting this year. if she beleives in god, and in her heart she is all for our country, then she has already won me past obama. and well ill give him the not saying the pledge of alegence, because he may be another religion and it does state one nation under god, but refusuing to wear our flag!!!!! nope even if i was i dont think i would voting for him.he isnt for us. hes for the title, or somthing worse i dont wanna think about. just my opinnion:)

That is just an urban legend about Obama not saying the Pledge or singing the National Anthem or whatever other version you heard or saw. The "one nation under God" part of the pledge wasn't added until the mid to late fifties, it wasn't there originally. As for wearing the flag, there are some how believe wearing the flag is a sign of disrespect. Either way, some wear it, others don't - I don't see it as an issue either way just as the custom mostly among older Americans to place their hand on their heart during the Anthem and/or the Pledge. They're old customs in some regions that the younger generation isn't even aware of or just never got into the habit of doing. That doesn't mean they don't love their country! I don't know that it would do any good to mention the fact that none of us choose our names and that when Obama was born the world didn't know about the evil Saddam Hussein. Annie

I honestly feel that on many of the points that matter Hilary and Obama have the same (or close) views. Their plan of action on alot of issues are the same. So I can say that I am confidence that whichever one of them wins the Democratic nomination would be better than McCain. My fear however is that if Hilary wins then all the people who don't want a woman Pres will vote for McCain. And if Obama wins all the people who say they don't want a Black Pres will automatically vote for McCain. Shouldn't it be about the stance they take on the issues and not their gender or race?? Look out if everyone keeps on the road they are on we will end up with another Republican in the White House for atleast another 4 years. LETS see how we make it through that.

"Look out if everyone keeps on the road they are on we will end up with another Republican in the White House for at least another 4 years. LETS see how we make it through that." That says it all! I'm hoping that if we constantly remind people of that they may just get past their misgivings about either a woman or a black man! I think a cross-dressing purple-people-eater would do better than the dimwit in office right now! Annie

Hilary is by far more qualified candidate than obama. She has white house experience. She is the wife of one of the better presidents we have had. Its going to be between her and Mcain in November. Hey anything better than this ahole we have right now.

You're right about Hillary winning in MA but Obama took the most states yesterday and the delegate count is very close. I'm hoping for Obama at this point and as it stands I'll be voting for him in my state's primary but I really don't know why you're worried. Now, any of the GOP candidates winning the White House, that's what worries me big time. Remember, no President in history has done more put put us all "under his thumb" than the current a$$hole. Also, I really have to ask why you say you don't think this country is ready for a woman President. We're one of the very few developed nations that has yet to have a female leader and all things considered I sure don't think the women of this world have done any worse than the men through the years.
