La Fea mas Bella or ugly Betty?

I couldn't stomach the English version...it just didn't have the same feel. The problem with American TV is that the shows just go on forever, and you never get to the end of it. I loved La Fea Mas Bella, though. I actually got to meet some of the cast once, at an event where they made a special appearance. I was working backstage, and I can tell you that Elizabeth Alvarez, who played Marcia, was a snotty little ***** who thought she was too good to talk to anyone. But Jose Jose (Don Erasmo), Luis Manuel Avila (Tomas), and Julio Mannino (Saimon) were very sweet. La Fea Mas Bella was actually not the first Mexican remake of Betty La Fea--there was one in 2000 called El Amor No Es Como Lo Pintan, but LFMB was better.
