Ah $**&! My tv just died!

Didn't see it coming either. But seems like there is a picture tube problem. It's odd as only channel 3 is giving me grief. Everything else has the normal snowstorm on it, as cable is hooked up to our digital cable box.
Grr, my husband just left for work, and he's not going to be amused when he comes home to find our tv not working.

As long as you can still see something and it powers up, there is hope. Check all the wires and cables to make sure they don't have frays in them then check the connections in the back. It really helps to Shop Vac the back of the television to get out dust and dirt. When mine started acting up on me I would vacuum out the back and sides and it would work perfectly.

It seems fine now. I guess it just needed to be turned off for a while.

IT can't be the picture tube or you wouldn't be able to watch any channel not just channel 3

My cable isn't hooked up to the tv.
All channels have snow, but channel 3 is jumpy.

Our picture tube is starting to go out. The screen gets all jumpy and sometimes the first time you turn the television on it does not come on for like a minute. It is getting annoying. Maybe I will buy a new television with my tax refund money next week when I get it back.
