I especially love to travel to tropical islands that have white sand beaches, palm trees and a coral reef just of the coast to snorkel. The most beautiful destination I have been to is Samoa. I liked the thatched beach building called fales and it was relaxing sleeping in one with the sound of the waves lapping and the wind blowing. I saw fruit bats in the rain forest, a blow hole, stunning palm fringed beaches and cool waterfalls. I also liked the Cook Islands, French Polynesia and Fiji. I loved going to the Seychelles for the beaches there are some of the most beautiful in the world. I really liked the excitement of a safari in Kenya. I had an excellent time in Belize and Guatemala going caving, seeing the Mayan ruins and staying in a tree house. So I would say a mixture of relaxation and adventure suits me. I rarely go to the same place twice and love to travel.

Wow, sounds like you have alot of fun when you travel. I wish I could afford to go and do some of the things you mentioned. Everything you have experienced in them places seems like such a fairy tale :)

I have been hiking in the Tennessee mountains and swimming in the Caribbean Sea. I can't choose between which I liked more. I just love nature so I would go any place where I could be outdoors a lot doing things. I think though that the ocean would probably be visited again before the mountains. I was there longer and did more things.

My favorite place to travel is Arizona. Our youngest daughter lives north of Phoenix and I love to go visit and see the grandkids. She has our only grandkids and I miss them so much. I was there visiting last August and she and her family were here in November. I need to book a flight and get out there again to see the kids.
We were in Maui several years ago and it's just gorgeous. If it wasn't such a long flight I'd have an interest in visiting again.

We live in England and as we have 4 children we find it hard to go abroad and such, so we have been taking our holidays in England. We didnt go to any place in particular we just tried different places each holiday, and then we discovered a place called Scarborough and we just fell in love with it. It is a beautiful place, beautiful beaches, clean, friendly, and loads of things to do and places to visit with the children. Plus, 2 of our favourite tv programmes are filmed there and if we are really lucky we get to see them filming and meet the cast!!

I think I would like to see the Yorkshire coast. I am sure that Scarborough and Whitby as well as Robin Hood Bay are attractive places. I went to the Nothumberland coast last year and really liked Sea Houses, Bamburgh and Alnwick. I like to see England but I like it even more overseas.

I love to travel to anywhere in europe, Its the only place where I feel like its where I belong, well its a weird feeling but I love it there!
I always go there for skiing trips with my family, I once went there with my girlfriend for a week to visit her cousins too. But I like to go for a longer periode of time like 2 - 3 weeks especially for skiing and visiting my cousins.
Or I like to go to a beach regulary, somewhere in south africa like cape town or durban where I grew up.

my all time favorite place ive ever travelled to so far is montreal, quebec, in canada.. well thats my all time favorite city ive been to.. canada is my favorite country ive ever travelled.. ive only been to canada and usa though.. my dream spots to travel to would be puerta rico italy and japan.. as for montreal ive been there many times, ive lived there twice and i still would go back at the drop of a hat if the chance came up.. its only about a 5-6 hour drive from here but with family and work i dont have much time for travel :) i used to visit montreal quite often though when i lived in halifax.. it was much further away in halifax also though.. about an 18 hour drive between those two places.. now that im closer i get there less.. kinda ironic i guess hah :( as for places i used to vacation a lot i would say maine is my favorite place to travel.. i used to go there every year for 6 or 7 in a row.. always the same camp grounds, usually the same camp site.. not too far from bangor in a town called brewer.. maybe it was in hermon.. i dunno those towns were all small and so close together.. its just outside of bangor anyways.. stephen king lives on the same road as the camp ground too! haha :D

I dont travel too often because money just dont allow it but I do love going to newfoundland canada. My hubby is from there, his entire family is still there. He is the only one that has come up to Ontario. We go down every other year to see his family and we have a blast. I'm really hoping one day to get to Florida and Hawaii.

I used to be an over the road truck driver in teh US. I have been to all 48 contitental dtats as well as 6 provinces in Canada. This was a very good, yet very hard question for me to answer. I have been to so many places that I would go back to evertime I got a chance to.
After some thought, I would have to say that my vavorite place is Natural Bridge, Va. It is just a naturally formed bridge that was discovered by George Washington in the 1700's. It started as a large land mass, and it was slowly worn away by a somewhat small river running under it. US route 11 runs over it. There is a walking trail that takes you down to the bridge so taht you can look up at it from the bottom. After that you can follow the trail for a mile to teh end. Along the way you can go inside a small salt peter cave, see the end of the Lost River, anad at the end of the trail is a beautiful waterfall.
If you like the beauty of nature, this is one of the best places to go. When I finish at the bridge, I always go to the Shenandoah Natural Park and Skyline Drive. This is a 105 mile streach of road that runs through the park. Along the way there are awesomely beautiful overlooks, hiking trails, and places to camp. I stop at every overlook everytime I go there.
I have gone to Natural bridge and Skyline Drive over twenty times and will be going back in about two weeks. For me it is close enough, that I can take my family for a nice overnight getaway, or a week long adventure.
