what can you say about the show are you smarter than a 5th grader?

my parents are laughing at the contestants that doesn't even know the basic questions for a 1st grade child.that is why in the commercials they say that it is one of the most embarassing show for grown-ups.what can you say about them?

It can be funny yes. But it may also be easy to judge from the comfort of our living rooms. Who really knows? It may have a whole different feel while there. Like a deer in headlights. Cameras are there. A live audience of people you never met. Thoughts cross the brain, "please don't let me make a jerk out of myself in front of millions of people." That's alot of pressure. Can't say I would pull a few brain farts myself.
