Golden Fried Prawns - How to make them delicious.

I cooked Golden Fried Prawns for my brother and somehow they didn't taste so great.. they were OK but not so delicious as i wanted them to be.. So if someone kindly help me with the preparation... Others may also take the benefit.

I'm assuming they were fresh or fresh/frozen. If they were... when rinsing the prawns, soak them in a fusion water or brine (water with herbs and garlic and salt, to your taste) for a couple of hours. Then rinse well. Coat the prawns with the desired breading (you can also infuse the breading with herbs and flavorings), then fry.
I love to fuse flavors together. Another little trick is to "fry" a couple of cloves of garlic in the oil. Put peeled whole cloves of garlic in the cold oil and cook it until it is translucent. You do not want it to burn - it will make the oil taste bitter. But, if you let it heat up with the oil, it can smell wonderful and make your fried foods delictably aromatic and flavorful. (You can do this with onion and peppers, too!) Enjoy!
