Why do we listen to rap/hip hop music although the lyrics generally carry content that is abusive to women and men, negative, drug related and focuses on material advancement, murders. How can we help this situation? especially as the music is geared toward the younger audience? how can we promote positive vibes that send a constructive message? What do you think?

I listen to rap because i can relate to the music either because it things that i've seen or done in my life. even tho alot of rap does send a message that some would think is negative not all of it does. artist like Mos def and common send a possitive message in there message. the problom is their not who you here on the raido. accually to be forreal you the raido only plays party. the real gangsta music is on there cds
