Is cheese a staple at your house or am I just crazy?

At my house everything that we eat has to have cheese on it, not just a little bit either, I mean a lot. You would think that we would be constipated all the time, but that is not the case. I know it sounds crazy and is probably scientifically impossible, but our bodies have adapted to eating that much cheese. We are crazy about cheese, any kind of cheese too. The only kind I don't care for is cottage cheese(it's not really cheese) My favorite is simple, sharp cheddar. We spend on average every week about 40.00 on cheese alone. Now tell me we aren't crazy. Does anyone else out there eat that much cheese?

When I was pregnant with my first son, I ate so much cheese that the dr told me to lay off because it wasn't good for me. I was spending around 60 a week on cheese for just me. We do eat alot of cheese in my house but I think you have us beat lol. I like to eat cheese, pickles and polish sausage for a snack. :)

I know how it is to be pregnant and crave cheese. I am pregnant with my second now. I have started to get mad when the cheese is gone by the end of the week, everyone loves it as much as I do around my house. It's a battle to keep it in the house that is for sure.

We eat a fair amount of cheese here in my house. My kids like it fairly often. As for my self I don't care for is to just eat it. I do like grilled cheese sandwiches and cheese melted in various recipes. If I ate that much cheese I would be concerned about the cholesterol since iyt is full of it.

We usually keep cheese in the fridge, but we don't eat in in excess. It's convinient to put in sandwiches or putting on top of leftovers or something.:]

Wow, $40 a week on cheese? Is this U.S. dollars? Yikes!
I love cheese too and cook with it a lot or use as a garnish, but I'd never use it enough to add up to $40 a week.
That would be most of my food budget!

We always have 5 or 6 different kinds of cheese in the house. We buy the large chunks from Sam's Club and smaller sizes at stores like Whole Foods or BevMo, where they have a wide variety of imports. I cannot think of any cheese I don't like. Hubby and I love Limburger and even head cheese, which is meat of course, not cheese, but that is the one people love to hate. Right now we have in the refrigerator blue cheese, Pecorino, chream cheese, sharp cheddar, pepper jack, and jarlsberg as well as some different cheese spreads and a package of that sliced stuff that makes grilled chees sandwiches so drippy and good.
I guess in our home you could say a day without cheese is a day without sunshine.
