Sometime when you buy ready food, you see in the package that you an warm it with oven or you can also warm it with microwave. Which one will you choose? oven or Microwave? I do like to use oven, even it is a little bit longer since we need to wait until the oven get warm before we can use to warm the food. But I think the food will taste better than microwave. What do you think?

I prefer to use the oven.
Although using the microwive is faster than use the oven, the food will cool up faster than using the oven. Also, my mother told me that ,always use the microwive will harmful to our body.
The last, I agree use oven can make the food taste better.=]

I think that the answer must be that it depends on how hungry you are. Oven heating is probably better, but you just cannot beat the speed of the microwave oven. Of course the taste of the food depends entirely on what the package contains. I find that much microwave food is usually bland and tasteless with high amounts of salt to add flavour, however it is quick and easy, and I admit to using it to bulk out a meal that I have otherwise prepared from scratch occasionally.

Well, it really depends on the situation at hand, but most of the time, I would rather use the Microwave as it is a lot quicker, and easier to use with less clean up, etc. Since we only have 30 minutes for lunch, and no places close by where we can eat, it would not make sense cooking or reheating food anyway else, but in a microwave.

Browning food changes the flavour and texture, which is why oven cooked food tastes better to us than microwaved food. I prefer some ready meals to be cooked in the oven but I have recently had some very good Thai and Chinese meals which I felt were better in the microwave than heated in the oven.

For me, I only have a microwave oven so I can only use that haha.
I normally heat up food using that too.
Or sometimes, I may steam it with a steamer.

Not all ready made food items can be cooked in the microwave. Some frozen, ready to cook items are raw. These items must be cooked according to the package directions, especially frozen, raw poultry and seafood. Just because food is hot doesn't mean it's properly cooked. Buy a meat thermometer. Food poisoning from improperly cooked or stored items is not pleasant.
