Hello everyone! This is Sue here & I was just curious about a few things & really would like to have your imput, so Please participate! Thanks! Please take a few minutes to answer the following questions for I will be returning again Soon!:D - Have you or will you be voting for any of the upcoming Primarys, if so, where, when & Why? What are You actually looking for in our next future president? And as for this upcoming November election, who would you personally choice to be our Next president of the United States, & Why would you want to choice them? As for myself, I actually voted for Rudy, (via the early Michigan primarys...) but my second choice is Obama. Obviously I'm an Indendent & will usually cast my Votes depending on the person's honestly factor & what they want to personally bring to the future Presidency that's in question. Please do tell us who & why you would want to cast your votes for that person? And I thankyou for taking your time to participate in this question! And just so that you all are aware of, their are No right or wrong answers here, just a little curiousity as to who you would like to see as being our next president on the United States & I was also curious as to why you decided to choice him or her in first place. Again thankyou for your imput & I will be returning very Soon! Thankyou & I hope that you all will take care of yourselves for now!:)~ SUE~ simplegurl1969@yahoo.com

I hope our next President will restore the respect our nation once had in the world. I hope he or she will pay attention to the problems we have in this country at least as much as those of other countries. I hope something is done about the health care crisis - and it IS a crisis to anyone who is not covered by insurance and becomes ill and can't pay the bills. I hope more attention is given to education, the environment and bringing jobs back to the U.S. I'd like to see the middle class getting some tax relief and the wealthiest pay their fair share. I'm sorry but it makes no sense that a nurse should pay a higher percentage of her income in taxes than a Wall Street investment banker who makes millions. I want to see our troops begin to come home from Iraq and if we must remain in Afghanistan I'd like to see our efforts concentrated there until we finish the job we started 6 years ago. I don't want the next President to play on our fears and to use lies to get support for controversial policies. I also hope the next Supreme Court Justices will be people who understand a woman's right to choose is guaranteed under our Constitution. Basically, I'd like to see issues like abortion and gay marriage to not be political issues but personal ones that government shouldn't interfere with.
All of that having been said, at this moment I plan on voting for Obama in my state's primary if the nomination hasn't already been decided, and in November I will vote for either Obama or Clinton, whichever is the Democratic nominee. I feel that for what I believe in and want for my country and my loved ones either will be a good choice. Thank you for being so thoughtful about the voting process. I hope everyone takes this election as seriously.

I know Ron Paul has lots of support, especially here and I must say he's better than any of the other GOP contenders by a bunch. I like his stance on the war but I just heard a speech by him this morning and he's really much too far right for my taste. His Supreme Court appointments would be more of what we got from Bush, for one thing and he'd get rid of the Department of Education. Don't get me wrong, out public education leaves much to be desired but having no government oversight or standards would just leave the poor neighborhoods out in the cold, thereby making it even less likely for the children there to ever escape poverty. Many things in our government are in need of fixing but I don't think we should throw the baby out with the bath water. Also, we need to take more care of our own people than the rest of the world but we can't become totally isolated from the rest of the world either, and I think that's what Paul stands for.

...And while I am here, is there anyone else out there who would like to tell us who you would like to personally choise for our United States presidency and why? As I have already stated before, everyone in here who decides to post their own comments will have the right to do so without being condemned. I just wanted to see what you guys thought & why you want to choice that certain person in the first place. Thanks again for your participating & I hope that I will be hearing from you very soon! Thanks & you take care!!! :) ~ Simplegurl ~
