You know I decided to check out my discussions and I jsut happenned to see that someone responded to my discussion about being at 98 then I checked my star -- and yes you got it - I was back at 97!
Okay am not upset but you certainly have me laughing because I am not going to quarrel. I am too classy for that but thanks anyway! However, what you have done though is to make me laugh.
Hahahaha! I hope you had a good time doing that and I extend my love and friendship to you too. In the meantime may God continue blessing you.

Everything in mylot are subjected to change, in any minute for no apparent explanations. I too have been wondering why I'm still at 92, since I used to get back to a ten star within just a couple of hours. But now, it seems like forever. Four months, if I'm not mistaking, since I have this read star and a rating that does not move.
It can be frustrating, but then I again I just have to try and not think about it for the fear that it might go down instead of going up.

Thank you for the understanding, it seems that I've made a few typos here. For instead of "four" and Red instead of "read."
I'm not much affected by the ratings, it's just that I find it odd. Don't worry, I'll still continue what I'm supposed to enjoy here!;)

I will tell you that even though it may be frustrating you should not let it get to you. What you can do however, is to keep on posting and working hard to earn your littel cents and dollars because they will add up to much. I have noticed that the ratings does not affect your earnings but it really is sad to know that people rate others negatively because your point of view is different from theirs. After all what would this world be like if we all dressed alike, smila alike, talked alike? I like to admire people and see how they carry themselves, how they respond to others, a little smile all of these make up an individual. So I rate everyone positively even when their respond is quite upsetting. Take heart friend.

A Jamaican? Well we seem to be everywhere. Warm and loving people we are. Dont worry about the ratings it will climb with time. It sjust that I have always seen discussions where the family complained about the fall in rating but it never happenned to me until I posted that discussion about reaching 98.

I just asked mylot about this very thing, star rating, and they said it also can be from responding to bad discussions, as in short discussions. They said if we respond to a lot of discussions that are not of good quality and that don't have a lot of responses to it, it will affect our star rating. That it is not just determined by the other members rating our responses. They said if I wanted to keep a good rating then reply only to long, good quality discussions "only". No short unquality discussions and no discussions with only a couple responses.

Well, I dont know about that. I have never seen myself responding to "bad discussions". If it is a topic that I can relate to then I do respond. Well I guess they have their ways and I have mine. It owuld be good if they could tell me which was one was the bad one I responded to.

I think what you did was right because it is only a number and that person was probably immature to tell you something like that.

Wow--I am really sorry to hear thar Sharon. Sounds like someone was a little jealous. Too bad people have to be like that. But your attitide is great amd I commend you for being classy about it, and 'turning the other cheek', so to speak. Creationhub (hope I spelled your name right, yours is at 94 and really, I don't even think it matters, as long as we are all here and doing our best that we can. I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Hi Sharon. Oh sorry to know that your rating drop from 98 to 97. I also don't know the mechanics of the rating system. But I guess you are still lucky to have the blue star. I have read of some discussions that their star rating plunges from a blue star to red or yellow. I think I read discussion before that someone has no star but we can see that he has already posted thousands of discussions. I wonder why this things happen.
