I do alot of crafts. I love crafting. I'm in my own little world when I'm making something. I can do a wide variety such as cross-stitching/needlework, painting, woodburning, etc. I'm good at making candleholders, clocks, floral arrangements, wreaths, and other things. What kind of crafts do you do? Got any cool ideas to share?

I've been wanting to try carpentry. I don't have the space to do something like that, right now.

It sounds like you do a lot of crafts! I do cross stitch, thats my favourite craft to do, I too go into my own little world and find it very relaxing, I love the way the picture begins from a blank canvas and builds into something so beautiful. I also enjoy tapestry, I can knit a little bit but not too good at that, but I can knit a teddy rather than a jumper! I dont get as much time for my crafts as I would like but I do it whenever I can, I could do it all day!!

I could do it all day, too. It's my getaway. I can be a perfectionist w/ my crafts, and it can take a long time to finish something. I don't get a lot of time to do them, either, because of kids, pets, husband, house, etc. lol

I do a lot of sewing for my dolls. I like the make the clothes I see on the runways for 11.5 inch dolls for fun. I also make clay figures and felt fabric creations as well. I really like doing crafts because it relaxes me and gives me something to do when i'm not doing class assignments.

I've been doing a scrapbook in memory of my mom. I have pictures of her throughout her life and pictures of things she liked...all for my nieces and nephews and for my children to see ... I want them to know her and for her to live on... I think she'd like the scrapbook and I think she'd love the idea that her grandchildren get to see and know her.

I also like to make these paper party bowels I make, beaded baskets, jewelry and much much more. Its bad for me to look threw a craft book or a craft store cuz when I do I want to make sooo many things that I can' afford them all.

Wow you are super crafty...I'm lucky that I can sew my daughters badges onto her badge scarf and blanket...lol I'm good at glueing things and stuff like that but that is it. I like to scrap book and I also write stuff but that is as far as it goes for my creativity!

Thanks. see, you can sew badges, i'm horrible at those. I just glue them on. lol. And, scrapbooking is fun. But, that's really craft depending on how dedicated you are. there are so many things you can do w/ one page, it amazes me. i haven't gotten head on into scrapbooking, yet, but i plan to after i finish some of my projects up. I like to write, too. i don't do it as much anymore, but i'll do a few poems here and there.

I also love to craft! I learned to knit a couple of years ago and so I love that. I have enough yarn that could make sweaters for an army! I would like to learn to crochet next. I want to learn how to make all of those funky granny squares. Probably my favorite craft right now is scrapbooking. I think it's so important to tell the story behind your pictures. A few years ago my grandma gave me all of these old old family pictures. Some of the people she didn't know and I thought that was so sad because they were somebody's family or friends and now they are just people in a picture. Scrapbooking is so addictive though and I could spend hours creating just a few pages.

I've tried crocheting, and I failed miserably. I could make chain long enough to wrap the world, but i could never turn and make the second row. lol. I'll try knitting some day. I hear it's easy.
