I like ROn Paul for the following reasons:
He believes in legalizing the Constitution of the United States and restoring America to the preservation of liberty which only the Constitution can make possible. He believes in sound money, money that is backed by metal, such as gold or other metal. For thousands of years people bought and sold with metal, particularly gold and silver. There were no booms and busts, rare inflation and deflation, since government cannot spend more than the available reserve of gold or silver metal used for money. Ron Paul knows that the current economic issues result for the Federal Reserve Boards printing paper, fiat money. Ron Paul believes in the rights to keep and bear arms to protect our liberty. In up until recent times, liberty and gun ownership went hand in hand. A man without a gun, is a man willing to give away his liberty, was the though for over a hundred years of American history. Ron Paul supports more freedom, and freezing non military, and non entitlement federal programs. He believes in brings troops and bases back to United States grounds, since there are troops and bases in most countries of the world. The founding fathers warned the nation of getting involved in entangling alliances. We would pay the price, and we certainly are. These and many more reasons are why I support and vote for Ron Paul for President. He is the only candidate that knows and supports the Constitution.

Ron Paul, I wish there was a way to get him into office. There is a march on July 12th but I think that this will be down played by the media, just like the rest of his campaign has been ignored by the press. I'm sure there was no accident in this.
He is basically a reincarnation of our founding fathers. He believes in strictly following the constitution. If he became president I know he would do away with Patriot Act. He would abolish the Federal Reserve because it is unconstitutional. On top of that we are having to pay interest for the Federal Reserve to print our money. That is why we have federal taxes, so he would do away with federal taxes too because they are unconstitutional. He is one of the few in office that does what he had sworn to do...to uphold the constitution.
I don't understand how it is legal for these laws to pass. The Patriot Act is one of the worst but there are many more where that one came from? I fear that if someone with a conscience is not elected this year we, the United States of American may be no more. The way every thing has been set up is that if something major happens in the US, Marshall law will be declares. If this happens then who ever is in office will essential become a dictator. Congress can not even attempt to step in for at least six months. Some business owners have been authorized to shoot to kill when Marshall law is in place. Scary stuff. It could be anything that sets this into motion. Another "terrorist" attack, economic collapse, flu epidemic, the sky is the limit...
It is scary to think we are living in a time that could change the world as we know it. Globalism is spreading like wild fire now. The North American Union is the only union that has happened yet. Will we loose our sovereign nation, our constitution, and our dollar? Will our economy collapse so that we are on a more level playing field with our neighbors tot he north and south before the union is formed. Sometimes I wish I could walk around oblivious to what is going on like most other Americans do. I pray for a person like Ron Paul to be elected. But I think our Nation is far too uneducated in political matters to be able to make any changes before this election year is over.
