Who likes to invest and how do you invest? I invest in the stock market for example and I am now speculating real estate.
the other way I invest is by lending money to people.

When I was younger I loved to keep up with the stock market, to do my own research and make investments. I still
have most of my stocks and mutual funds with dividends being reinvested. Now, I put most of my money in CD's just in case something would happen to me. Tell me more about the .com you mentioned above.

I have spent a more than year and a half with Prosper.com (this is my referral site www.prosper.com/join/epwait56 ) you may have heard of it. I have had tremendous joy in being part of that lending community. I started out lending $50 a month now I invest $200 a month plus what I get back on my princple and interest. At one time I was lending $50+$12=$62 and every time I would increase my return by $1.50 two $2.00 an month increasing the amount I would lend, example if $62 was last month then next month I invested $50+13.50=63.50, the next month $50+15.25=65.25. That just kept getting bigger as my borrowers kept paying back the principle with interest. I have done so well I invest that $200 a month I mention now. As with any investment there is risk not every loan I helped to fund has been successful because some people may stop paying back the loan. To be honest at this time I have one loan that went in to collections. Over all through Prosper has been the catalyst to my wealth building along with my stock investing. With my blog (www.sharethewealth-epwait55.blogspot.com )and my home business called BookWise (www.mybookwise.com/sharethewealth) I plan on retiring in three to four years from my job at a small restaurant I will be 39 or 40 years old.

I enjoy hearing about people that takes steps to ensure their families financial future. I hope that you meet your goals and will be able to retire early. I too, took similiar steps and retired in 1993 at the age of 46. I use to invest almost entirely in stocks and mutual funds, but as I got older, I started investing in short time investments. I left my stocks and mutuals alone to grow through dividend reinvestments. Now that interest rates has taken a tumble, I've started looking at other investment opportunities instead of CD's. I'll take a look at your other sites and see what you have about Prosper.com.
