Lashley gone from the WWE for MMA circuit?

What are your thoughts of Bobby Lashley being let go from the WWE and Pursuing a MMA career. Me personally I first saw him in a dark match before he hit tv in the Poughkeepsie Civic center. He beat Steven Regal. I was like hmm that guy looks like he could go somewhere, and somewhere he did. Winning Heavyweight titles in the WWE. Now his departure is due to money. Being injured most of 2007 and still being paid in the neighborhood of a million sounds good to me. But he so called didnt get what he thought was fair for one match and he complains. Boy talk about greedy. Is there no love for what you do anymore? Or had it just become about the Dollar figure?

As everyone responded here i even didn't know about this news. But i didn't like what lashley did, may be he got his own reasons for moving out to MMA Circuit. But leaving WWE is not a cleaver decision. Anyway what is this MMA circuit i never heard of this. Is it also a professional wrestling company or it's just some other company in the town. I hopw Lashley comes back to WWE and entertain us as ever.

its a big shame i think becuase i was a big fan of bobby lashley and enjoyed watching his matches on raw smackdown and ecw. I knew he would win a world title and was glad when he won the ecw title twice, i dont think we got the most out of lashley and he will be missed and maybe if we are lucky he may return, i hope he does well in what ever he does whether that is going to tna or joining the mma circuit

Frankly I am quite shocked by this. Since he never said he wanted to leave the wwe unlike a lot of wrestlers who say they are going to leave like rob van damne and booker T and big show. And he was being pushed as a top superstar in the wwe which is why im also shocked. Im just glad they didnt give him the wwe title other wise in my opinion it would of been a lot worse. It would be exactly like brock lesnar did.

Lashley was someone they could have built around instead of promoting the same old recycled crap. DX, Ric Flair etc. They really need to trim down their roster a bit and focus on a core group of guys instead of giving tv time to a bunch of guys that suck. While I was never a Lashley fan, I did see potential in him as someone who could be at or near the top for a long time. I think the WWE made a big mistake by letting Lashley go.

I bassphelan,
I didn't knew that, he obviously went for the money but maybe he consider working less since being with the wwe implies to move all year round, matches, presentations, shows, but having people supporting you and making you an idol as well it's a real compliment.
Good for him if that's what he really wanted, but in mma no staging so ... and I'm not saying he's not prepared for it but I prefer the spectacle instead.

I can not believe this. booby Lashley was a very athletic wrestler. I mean wow you leave the job were you have millions of fans supporting because of money. That is so uncool. I thought he wasn't like that. Then again money is the root of all evil. People will do anything for it.
