How Long Should I Wait?

I don't think that there is a certain amount of time that needs to be waited, but I think that when you are reading your responses, one of them may stand out and catch your eye and that is the one that I would nominate as the best response. That's just my opinion though.

Yep, I would also try to wait a week, if I even post about them at all. Most times I forget and just try to move on to new discussions, Maybe that is not the right thing to do as I also forget to mark best responses and give ratings. Sorry my answer is likely not very helpful, but just thought I'd also mention that my unanswered discussions, I've noticed, are sometimes answered after a week and sometimes two. Not all members likely visit every day, so I would give them some time to catch up when they do get around to visiting.

yes, i have to keep reminding myself that not everyone lives on the computer. well, i don't either, but you know...lol i like that pic w/ the guy hugging his PC saying "i love my computer, all my friends are in it." :D

I wait a week and then I will go through and mark best responses. That gives a ample amount of people to respond if they are going to.

A couple of weeks after started, thou I never had many responses. In case a still responses dripping in I wait a little more until nothing more i added and yet sometimes I get a reply after.
