Being in India Sania mirza should play all matches in India. It is unfair saying that she is strong on not playing in India.

It's disappointing that she isn't playing the Bangalore open , but it's equally hard to ignore the fact that Sania has been targeted by certain sections of the media and people for no fault of hers.None of the controversies that she has been drawn into involved any serious issues and yet some selfish, thickheaded people used her to get publicity and media attention. That said, her recent form in the Australian open was praise worthy and one can only hope that, irrespective of the nonsensical controversies, she'd continue to improve and play the best tennis that she can.

thats very dissapointing that sania is not taking part in bangalore open ,where she could have chance of beating good oponents ,taking home advantage with many people supporting her in the stadium.....
but she feels that support is not enough, she is too worried about controversies....
only advice i give to sania(though am not at position to give advice to great player) is just to concentrate on her game, service and fitness....
hope sania plays bangalore open along with all prestigious tournaments in india as well as in foreign soil....and hope she will bring good name for the country...
we are here to support you sania.....

It is very disappointing but we should may be try and understand what is going through her mind as well. She has been insulted here and would definitely have that in the back of her mind. After all she's just 21-22 we cannot expect her to be very mature in this issue.
