Does it has good quality? The size is quite small about 80mb for one episode, but i don't know the image quality. And where can i find the player for that format?

If you really want quality, you don't want to go for rmvb. BUT, if you want acceptable quality for

Nice. I've been looking for codecs for my rmvb files. I was forced to download the real plyer just to be able to play them. Now, I have too many media players in my computer. hehe. Thanks for the link.

It's great because quality is good and filesize is really small. Only bad thing is that you can't edit RM videos (if you want to do AMV or something).

Yes, it has good quality... I like RMVB format since it only has smaller files around 50+MB, it depends on the length of the anime/drama. Try searching "Storm Codec" you need that in your computer for you to be able to watch .RMVB format files... Btw, there's a player that includes in that codec, just open the "MEDIA CLASSIC PLAYER" and you can now watch your favorite anime in rmvb format.

yes, but i guess it depends on how good it was compressed and release. you can use Real Video if you want to watch it but you need a codec for RMVB files. i download animes in avi. format then i compressed and convert it to dix format. lol. i dont use that format, sorry. but for me Xdiv is better than RMVB in quality and compression. lol.

IT always depends... Half the time it sucks, but the other times it's not that bad... Ya, I"m not too sure, because I don't use it that much in the first place. I use something totally different XD

Well RMVB quality is alright compared to streaming. but avi's/mkv's are better. Try CCCP player or Mediaplayer Classis from K-lite codec pack.

The quality is bad. If you're a true anime fan you will never see anime in rmvb... xD Okay, I'm overreacting:P I myself do watch anime on youtube from time to time and rmvb is not much if any better than that. So if you want to store any anime series I suggest you to forget about rmvb. These days even avi releases are considered low quality:P and the player for this would be media player I think or simply rm player;)

I have used and watched many animes in RMVB, and from my experience, it really depends. RMVB's which are around 50-65mb tend to have really bad quality, but 80-95mb offer decent quality. RMVB quality is not as good as DIVX, but it has great compresssion (85mb vs 170mb). It is your personal choice. I perosnally use RMVBs. You can download Real Player Alternative to view RMVBs.

i think .rmvb videos is not that bad. i've watched several videos using this format, and never had problem with it. if u want a 'fair' movie experience, its enough. but if you want a High-Def, i think a divx/xvid compressed movie will be much better. u can use klmcodec to be able to watch .rmvb movie. its free. to know more about video compression, just go to doom9.org, they have more than enough informations there.
