We can see umpairs from lot of countries in icc but not from INDIA. Is that fare. Why are Indian Umpairs neglected in ICC. Is there no potential, it may not be true. So What steps should India take to fill this gap.

It is not the initiativeness that BCCI has to take. It is the cricketer or one is greatly interested in cricket should take up the examination conducted by ICC. If that person passes the test, then he will be enlisted in empanelment of umpires. If need be, BCCI can only sanction some money to meet the expenses incurred in taking up the examination like TA, DA.

I am realy happy to read you comment. I understand our people has to get pass in the examination. To my knowledge there are enough no. of people passed the examination but they are not placed in elite pannel of ICC umpairs so i feel BCCI should intervein in this matter. Thankyou for your comments, hope you like my other blogs also.
