Where In The US Is Your Favorite Place To Travel?

So I need to decide where in the US I should plan a trip to this summer. So I'm wondering, where is your favorite place in the US to travel to and why? What do you like to do there? What sites and attractions are there? Where would you recommend staying/eating/visiting? Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Well, I havn't been to to many places but my girlfriend's mother lives in Las Vegas and we've been there twice and I had a blast both times so it's Las Vegas.

If you like to be outdoors, or in the mountains, go to Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. There is alot of beautiful things to see there. Many activities like hiking and camping. And it is a short drive to Natural Bridge, another of my favorites.

i would definitely go to those states with great beach spots because I love going to the beach;probably Hawaii or those near the Pacific coasts.

Or the east coast...sometimes I think the beaches and that on the east coast are underrated. If you are interested in things like surfing and stuff then the west coast is probably better. But if you like to relax, its easy to find quiet areas and beaches that have only a few people on them, especially during the off season.

I love Great Smoky Mountains National Park (the border between North Carolina and Tennessee)
It is so much to do for whole family.
From hiking to walking between waterfalls or Tubing and Rafting on Whitewater...

I really like California and have been there three times. I think San Diego is a lovely place with pretty beaches. Santa Barbara is a charming place to go with a picturesque coastline and attractive hills behind it. I also liked Santa Cruz where I saw many sea lions. I so enjoyed riding on the trams in San Francisco and I saw the amazing looking Golden Gate Bridge. Los Angeles is huge and there I saw Beverly Hills and Hollywood. Going to Venice Beach was fun and so was a trip to Disneyland. I stayed in backpacker hostels when I was there. I hope that you find your ideal location in the USA for your trip this summer.

Thank you! I love California too! I was born and raised in San Diego. I live on the East Coast now, but I go back to San Diego often to visit!

I have mostly traveled around the eastern US. I think my favorite city is Washington DC. There is so much history and sooo much to do. Its easy to walk or use public transportation whereever you go.
My advice for finding places to eat or get a drink is to follow the locals. This goes for wherever you travel. If you go out of the tourist areas you are almost always going to find better food, nightlife, etc.

If I were you I would like to go to Yellowstone Park. I think it is a great place and nowadays we need to contact directly to nature

My Summer Vacations I alwayz go to Wilmington NC. Theres a lot of neat activities n fun things to do there around summer time. I love the Beach & hott guysss...That's my fav place 2 go!
