how will a blind man recognise the person

i am deafness, i did help a blind man whi i blind and deaf i use my sign langeage man blind and deaf man hold my hand while i sign langage he understand what i say !

A blind man can recognise a person by any of the attributes like a smell of a person or his sound or his touch but mostly i feel he would recognise it with his Voice.What according to you would be the best possible way for a blind man to find out a person?

Hi there oracleJazz! Yeah, you are right. Since the blind cannot see, they rely on their other senses to make up for what they cannot determine because of their condition. Through smell, remembering the person's perfume or any distinguished smell that will automatically tell the blind person who the person is and where he is. Voice is a really good way of telling too. I remember that when I was younger and seems to live beside the telephone, I can tell whoever is calling the moment they say hello so I guess it's much more with blind people. Touch is also a good way of telling although it can only tell soft or smooth, or describe the texture, or is it hairy or not but that's because I'm not blind, lol but I think that they have more keen sense of touch. Last, their hearing is said to be really sharp. It still depends on case to case basis but without sight, as I've said before, thay have no choice but to rely on their other senses.

I think it will be a combination of these that helps him recognize other people! His other senses may be better as a result of not being able to see.

You can notice blind man know if there are persons near them or staring at them.They use their sensitive feelings. Sometimes tru the blow of the wind. When you are blind, you were so sensitive in a lot of things. To know if the person is sad or happy, they can feel it tru the use of their sixth sense to detect emotions. This is how they can recognize person who they are always interacted like parents and other member of the family.They can differentiate the different sounds, how they walk or move and more likely to their voice created by their love ones. WE are not blind but we also feel if someone was staring at us or gossiping because of sensitive feeling. Our instinct help us too.
