I lived in a hostel for a month in germany one time. It took a lot of getting used to...like sharing showers, toilets, rooms, sinks, etc. Having 4 people packed into a room that is about as big as the normal bedroom or smaller. But I have to say I loved it. The food was typically bad but the people I met made my stay a once in a lifetime event. I am also an introvert and I am glad that I came out of my shell for awhile to talk to everyone that was staying at the hostel with us. It was amazing. There were people there from all over the world. It opened my eyes to a lot of things. I think everyone should have this experience at least once.
