Well. Here I am working all night online and of course I have to feed my nerves while I am at it. My daughter bought me a snickers candy bar the other day and I froze it in the freezer. I just remembered I had it. So now I am eating it and asking you if you do the same?

I snack mostly when I'm on my computer especially at night. I usually have a bag of Cheeto's or something on that order.

I usually snack on some kind of chip also. I fixed me some nachos last night but early this morning I got a sweet tooth and grabbed a frozen candy bar. Have you ever tried a frozen candy bar?

I have many times. On the other hand, don't want to break a tooth so it's not something I do on a regular basis. I work in a snackbar and once in awhile the golfers will want a frozen Snicker's candybar especially when it's extremely hot outside.

Same here. I have to be so careful because I recently lost a filling in one of my teeth. I eat frozen candy bars in the summer also. I also like to blend a candy bar up in my blender and mix it with vanilla ice cream. That is good too.

The candybar with the ice cream sounds really good. I have to try that sometime. I don't each much of either because of cholesterol but every now and then I love to dive into something I shouldn't eat..lol

I think Snickers once told us to freeze their bars. For some reason I really like it frozen. I also freeze green grapes, but you have to eat them frozen and not let them thaw. It's like candy.

Oh really?? I have never tried to freeze grapes and eat them. What are they like? Do they taste like a sweet hard candy or something?

I will have to try that sometime. I like to dehydrate fruit also in a dehydrator. Have you ever tried that? It makes the fruit like a chip and it is crunchy.

I have a friend who does that too, but now just grapes. Strawberries and bluberries too. They don't get rock hard, they just have ice crystals.

Oh I love frozen Snickers bars mostly in the summer though when it's hot outside. I have had to cut back though as I've gotten older and bitting into those frozen bars hurts my teeth something horrid.

Same here. One of my fillings fell out recently and I have to be so careful of what I eat. I mainly chew on the opposite side of my mouth. I need to go get my tooth refilled but I have other things to put my money towards right now, unfortunately.

I remember people doing that, but they've never really floated my boat. Maybe because people freeze 3 Musketters less.

Hi. I have kept mine in the fridge also. I didn't know how soon I would want to eat it so I froze it. It was ok but it made my belly hurt a little bit later LOL.

Your discussion brought back memories, stephcjh, of the days when I used to do just that. That was before I had to watch so carefully what I ate all the time, lol.

Probably not that late at night. It is weird how your body reacts even though you are sleeping differently you belly and brain are still sending the same messages...no junk past a certain time!!!!

Well I do like frozen candy bars, but I only eat candy bars if I have extra money and if I feel like I want to eat something sweet. Snickers is one of my favorite but here in our place it is sold expensive since snicker product is imported in other country. I don't buy candy bars on regular basis as I am not really fun to sweet foods, but really I preferred to eat frozen candy bars, you can really feel how it taste.

Depends on the candy bar, and the size. But since my parents used to freeze left over halloween chocolates, we kinda got into the idea early. My brother buys a certain type of chocolate square, and refuses to eat it unless it's frozen saying it';s the only way to eat it.

Yeah. A friend of mine when I was growing up, their parents used to freeze Easter candy. I think that is where I actually got the idea from.

I haven't done frozen candy bars since I was a kid, but I still love frozen Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookies! Try them that way next time it's Girl Scout Cookie season in your area. I think it really brings out the mint.

I see what you mean. I don't always freeze mine and eat them frozen either. Sometimes I let them thaw out and then eat them when they are soft or blend them up in vanilla ice cream.

I always feel drowsy when working in the warm afternoon so I like to have some frozen stuff to energize me. I like to keep the sliced traditional Chinese new year cake and sweets in the freezer. The chilled and frozen slices and sweets taste nice and make me refreshed.

oooo, snickers, my favorite.. No I don't like them frozen, hurts my teeth trying to eat them. I may have it in the fridge, but still prefer it at room temperature as long as it isn't too warm.. My husband on the other hand, freezes all his chocolate thinking it will keep me from eating it, but all I have to do is take it out for a couple of hours..lol

Actually we haven't done it ourselves, but have bought moose tracks, the ice cream with mini reeses all through it..I can eat that because I guess their size makes it easier to eat..
