can I make money with my blog

I have a blog in Hexun for a month.Several days ago ,I heard that the blog can help ourselves to make money ,is it really?I try and I found that it maybe really.I can get adsense with my blog,but it is very little.I want to get google adsense but I failed.I apply google adsense and didn't pass.What should I do?
