With the rate at which these animals are being killed by poachers... it seems that after few years we will see them in Zoo's only. But i prefer seeing them in their natural home i.e., Wild Life sanctuary or national Parks.. but inn the wild and open area. Tell me where would you like to see them.

I also agre with you, Damn it would be exciting to go on some wildlife safari and watch the animals in their natural habitat. I feel its sad and boring when they are caged up, since its not natural for them. Also it must be a pain in the a** being there, looked upon by tons of tourists armed with cameras and stuff.

I love to travel and see native animals in the wild. I went on a safari in Kenya and saw giraffes, rhinos, a leopard, elephants and lions. I have been to Australia and seen koalas and kangaroos. In New Zealand I saw dolphins and penguins. I adore snorkeling and have done this with black tipped sharks and sting rays in French Polynesia. I realize that I am lucky to have seen so much wildlife in living in the wild in many different areas of the world. I think wild life sanctuaries do valuable work for animals. I don't tend to visit zoos. I get more enjoyment from seeing wild animals in the place they normally live. Though I so wanted to see a kiwi in New Zealand I visited a wildlife park. I don't like poachers and like to hear about conservation efforts. When I was in Belize I went out on a boat to watch manatees. I was delighted to see a ranger's hut and notices about rowing in the area rather than running a motor.
