Do you approve of Begging ??

Begging on the roadside, its a profession in itself and you have to learn the ways to Beg correctly. I personally never encourage beggars and does not approve of begging. I feel a normal Human being should not beg as long as he can work i'm willing to help the needy one's, people who are helpless and handicapped, but not the healthy one's. What do you think.??

i agree with you...i don't approve begging too and don't want to give money to them especially the healthy ones....i don't approve it coz it makes them lazy....as long as they are healthy, then they should work for money and not just wait for money to come...

Yes.. dear you pointed out correctly that the healthy one's should work to earn and dont beg.. do you approve of putting them in prison.

i don't approve of begging but i do not disapprove of beggars.. what i'm saying is that i hope one day, life will be good to everyone that no one has to result to begging.. i have a job but at times, i still feel that my money is inadequate for my needs.. what more for a person who does not have a regular job? at times people may seem healthy in the outside but most of them are helpless inside.. i know a lot of people who graduated from top universities who are unable to find jobs.. what more to a person who made it to high school only or even less?

I never said to disapprove of beggars.. its just the fact i dislike that many of them takes up begging because it seems the simplest and easiest way to live. There's no actual hard work required, you have to do the same task everyday.

to have to resolve to begging in order to live may seem the simplest way to go.. but we need to understand also that one would have been pretty desperate to go as low as that. it's not the easiest thing to do to reach out but when i think about it, i'm glad also that i'm not in the receiving end of alms. some of them are really fit to work and believe me, they are willing to work if given the chance. but if someone ragged knocked at my doorstep one day, will i not think twice in hiring that person? that is something all of us should ask ourselves, too..

I see the same people all the time; always using the same line. They ask for .50 cents for the bus or say that they are so hungry and haven't eaten for days. When I offer to get them a few hamburgers at Mc Donald's they decline. If they were that hungry they wouldn't turn down food from any place. I feel bad for the homeless people but if they are making the choice to be there and don't want help from local agencies then I have to look the other way.

Yes this has becum one of the profession for thenm....
they think y do to work if we can earn by begging.....if we donot encourage them by giving them a penny n ask them to work or find out a work to give them so that they dont beg...this is one of the solution to stop the beggers......

Yes.. thats what i just pointed out in one of the responses.. its always better to make them toil hard for the money....
