well i was recently pregnant and when i went shopping for maternity clothes i was about ready to pull my hair out! they never make good quality of maternity clothes for women and i dont see why not cause when your pregnant all you want to do is look good or better than you feel. i believe when you look good or have nice maternity clothes you feel better about yourself and lord knows thats like giving kids toys to a pregnant woman it boots their self esteem. i think they should make better clothing for that instead of putting a high price on it to where only the rich or famous can afford it. i would love to know what you think about this ladies!!

For me it's not that I can't find nice maternity clothes because I was recently at a maternity fashion show and I loved about 99% of the clothing that the models were wearing, but my problem is that I just can't afford to spend that much money on clothes I'm going to grow out of quickly. I've never been one to spend loads of money of clothes in the first place, even when I was at a consistent size. But now that I'm pregnant, I definitely can't see myself spending $50+ for a pair of capris or shorts that I'm only going to wear for a few months (if that!).
I've actually been looking into maternity clothing on Ebay. If you're lucky you can find some decently priced maternity lots (many items of clothing in one auction).

well i am currently pregnant with my third. This is the first time that I have actually bought maternity clothes. I just couldn't play it off like I did with the last 2 pregnancies. I went to old navy and bought a pair of dark low rise maternity jeans, dark brown low rise maternity corduroys and light low rise maternity khakis. I bought everything low rise so that I can keep wearing it after i have the baby and it won't look so obviously maternity. I bought a bunch of plain different colored stretch t-shirts that are not maternity and 2 pairs of stretchy yoga pants. I also have a 2 baby doll dresses that are not maternity to wear when I go out. I spent less than $150 in everything and I can still wear practically everything after I have the baby. I dress it all up with some nice accessories that I already have. It was the best I could do since Mimi Maternity and A Pea in a Pod has the most absolutely beautiful maternity clothes and they would not take my 1st or 2nd born as payment.

i dont think you really need to buy a maternity clothes with a high price because when i was pregnant, i never buy a maternity clothes, just a garterize pants, then a loose blouse,i mean, if you really can afford why not, but for me, it's not that practical for me to buy clothes like that..it's how you look yourself, how comfortable you are on what you are wearing, right? but i dont say that it's bad to buy clothes with high price..you can, of course..

Before my last pregnancy I was a size 12. I looked at maternity clothes and thought that not only were they expensive they weren't awfully nice considering their price tag. I think that is is challenging to find really nice maternity clothes in late pregnancy. I decided to just buy size 20 ordinary clothes although I did buy a gorgeous maternity swimming costume. I think there are lots of maternity jeans for sale but nothing all that comfortable or smart.
