Why does everything become so normal after 3 month?

I am together with my boyfriend for quite a long time now. In the beginning everything is so sweet and you can't think of something else than this person, always talk to him, see him, make small presents...But nearly exactly after 3 month everything is normal and the only difference to a friendship is that you kiss, talk and behave somewhat different...Why?

because you have focused only on him for 3 months and nothing else, you maybe should have kept you old life and made room for him in it rather than making a whole new life with just him, it is sort of like eating only desert , at first it is great, but after a while you want and need the whole meal to be balanced. so start bringing back the friends and things you used to do

Well in my life I didn't exclude my friends and else, it stayed normal, except that there was and is someone special. I'm just wondering why it's nearly always after three months...

Eventually everything cools off or gets a little dull; the trick is to keep things spiced up no matter what it is. Every person is different, sometimes you have to find out the things that they are into, silly things or secret things. That way you can surprise them and take the relationship to another level.
