Computer games like Runescape for networking or not.

My son is crazy about Runescape. I have never used the computer for games since I believe in the internet as a source of knowledge, blogging, marketing or networking. My son says that games on the internet can be educational. I just don't know. Does anyone know of any internet games that business entrepreneurs can use to network with each other and gain knowledge as well? Is Runescape such a site?
