Do you believe in Destiny?

First of all, what is the definition of Destiny? Is it something we cannot avoid? Or something odd to happen? Anyway it is a good thing, if it exist. It gives us a reason to continue living, and a reason to continue fighting, for our destiny or against our destiny.

hi' i am cris your new friend in mylot. by the way,this my first time to used mylot and joining us discussion,like this. for me yes' I'll believe in destiny, cause destiny is comes to everyone, according to person and whether, destiny is the most beautiful things in our life. but we didn't see if when and where is the right time to see our destiny. and sometimes we just need find our destiny,and we just need pray to god,

Destiny - that's quite a topic. It can be extended into spiritual and religious tangents as well as the paranormal. My view is this: God (or Destiny) may lay out certain major events in our life but most of our life depends upon our own decisions/actions. We have a maze of potential laid before us and which way we go determines where we end up. Destiny (or God) might make all those paths eventually lead to one spot and then perhaps branch out into choices again. This can happen again and again throughout our life. Thereby our life is made through both Destiny and our own choices. So ultimately, yes I do believe in Destiny, but I do not think it is the only thing that directs our lives. -Tink

I do believe in Destiny. I feel like sometimes things happen to people because it was in their Destiny. I believe that you choose your fate and that helps guide you destiny. Some people have destinies that allow them to do good things. Also it allows good things to happen to them. So if you choose the right or shall I say the better fate path then your Destiny will more and most likely be good.

I believe in destiny. I believe that everything is based on it. You think you can decide but HOW you decide is already decided by destiny...

Destiny ... sometimes we have no destination in mind but still get to where we end up experiencing whatever happens. One day a long time ago I found a ball laying at the side of a path and nobody .. or dogs .. around anywhere, so I picked it up and started walking along that path just bouncing that ball. About a half an hour or so later, way off in the distance, I saw a couple of dogs running and playing and as they got closer their owners came also into view, but I couldn't see them well from such a distance .. however the dogs spotted me and started running to where I was, and not knowing why for sure, but assuming they wanted the ball .. I tossed it over their heads .. back towards where they came from. The dog that got to the ball first picked it up and took it to her master .. LOL .. Long story short, I dated that girl for 5 years or so. Destiny? Or just being in the right place at the right time without having planned being there?
