Hello,everyone!
I'm a chinese student, and I can't understand this phrase. Is there anybody would like to help me.
The whole sentence is" I dind not get proactive like my friend Heather, who, having been rejected by her first choice, made I Love Lucy-style plans to drive to the Duke campus with her soccer ball and her science-fair project to show the admissions board exactly what they were rejecting."I'll be very appreciated if there is someone can help me.
