How's the weather up there?

It's been three days now, two days the sun didn't shine and today it shone. The wind here is very cold, I believe it's because of the ice that's starting to melt from China. I am not used to covering myself with a blanket at night as I sleep, but I was forced to because the weather's too much for much. I also like these type of weather, but one thing that's holding me back from enjoying it is my toothache. It's killing me, I couldn't sleep well for the past few days. One thing I'm hoping to disappear is the pain I'm feeling right now, as I enjoy this type of weather we have right now. Sunny, yet the wind breeze is cold and a good time to enjoy outdoor activities. As I sip a hot cup of choco, I'm also planning to what I'll be doing for the rest of the day. It's Saturday, so this would be the most fun part of my weekend. I wonder what's going on in your part of the world, have the ice melted down? If you're just staying at home, do you also plan for some outdoor activities?

Tomorrow is going to be a nice day and I really should get outside. We have snow and ice on the ground melting. About the time it is gone we are expecting cold weather again. Tomorrow is Saturday for me. I want to get extra sleep, and just bum around, I think.

That's a good idea, we all need to rest after a whole week's work. Sunday would be my "bum" day, I prefer to conserve and recharge my energy just before the start of a new week.

I am from the Philippines and we do not really have ice in this part of the world. However, we experience the cold wind brought about by the melting of ice up north. It's sunny at this moment but quite cold. I will be going out in a while to see my girlfriend. It gets a little warm during the noon until about 3 in the afternoon. After that, it's really cold until the next day.

What part of the Philippines are you from, I;m also a Filipino from Cavite. Yes, the cold breeze came from China as the snows there starts to melt. Goodluck on your visit to your girlfriend, enjoy your time together for Valentine is drawing near..

It's hot or raining here raijin with the occasional blustering wind. I love hot sunny days when there is a cool breeze blowing, that's my favourite weather. I live in the Australian bush - where do you live? Sorry to hear you have a toothache...ouchywawa. I hate toothaches. Hope it's cleared up by now. Good luck.

I live in a tropical country, so it's a bit strange and unusual for me to experience such a cold windy breeze all day. Luckily, my toothache's gone, thanks to the dentist I visited two days ago!;)

oi raijin! so this is part of "whatever comes into your mind" discussion? ^__^ wow! is it really cold there?? i wish it was cold here too. its not really hot today but its not cold too. just a little cloudy with no wind. i would have loved it if there was a little cold wind. well, at least there's no heat and sweat to dread of. ^__^ its Saturday and yes, this should be the most fun part of a weekend. i guess i'm enjoying myself. i woke up late, had pan de sal for breakfast, and i'm currently having an anime marathon and inserting myLot once in a while. i haven't taken a bath yet but its okay. there's still a lot of time for that. ^__^;; everything i've planned for today are all indoor activities. i don't really do much outdoor activities anyway. i prefer to stay home, surf the net or watch tv and enjoy the comfort of home. ^__^

I've graduated from that anime watching, I only get to watch some on youtube like those past cartoon/anime series that I used to watch when I was a kid. It's still windy here, eventhough the sun is up and shining.

sunny sky - The weather here is sunny
Hello dear raijin c",) I'm sorry to hear about your agony, because of that aching tooth you're not able to enjoy this day... It's a good idea to get rid of it when the aching is gone.BUt i advice you to take some pain reliever but visit your dentist for the right med to take.. I once had an empacted wisdom tooth, which caused me so much pain. That was 3 yrs ago, i had to visit my dentist and he decided to have it extracted. Glad that i did c",) So i advice you to visit your dentist soon ok... About the weather here, it was nice and sunny from early morning till noon, but now it turned cloudy and less sunshine. When i'm at home and no schedule for work or any activities i love to relax or stay in bed specially when the wind breeze is cold and it's raining. But what i don't like is when i have to go out early for work with the heavy rain outside.. It's nice to have some outdoor activities during summer but late afternoon when the sun is not that hot anymore. Do take some pain reliever to ease the pain even a little ok, don't worry it'll be over soon and you need to visit your dentist...Take care dear c",)

Make sure you clean around your tooth, and maybe, if you rinse it with peroxide, gently, it will be soothed and you can get some rest.

I still have my previous dentist prescriptions, good thing I always save it so I know what I should buy in-case these toothache happens. I'm visiting my dentist this next week, so I thank for reminding me about that!;) Two days ago, I was consuming 3 500mgs. of pain relievers a day and still has no effect. I couldn't sleep, I'm still awake and so was my senses. But the pain now has lessened, as I'm sure it'll be back again after a couple of hours!:( But no worries, nothing can put me down as I am one helluva stubborn "always on the go" guy!;)

Right now the weather here in Australia is rainy and miserable. Hang on sec, actually just as I speak sun is trying to come out. The sun can't make up its mind whether it is coming or going, lol. But over the past few days the weather is really muggy, cannot handle the heat. So I would like some cold wind right now, so I can snuggle up in bed and be warm. Don't have any outdoor activities planned today, if it keeps raining, I will be at home on net, lol.

The past week has been sooo cold in India. They say it's the Northerly winds from China. I like it, I can now use the blankets we have stacked up for so long. No ice here but enjoy my Rum and Coke.

Rum and coke would be good for me at cold weather, but I'm not really into rums!;) You seem to get the winds from China as well, you better use those blankets for it might get colder for the days to come!;)

It doesn't snow in this part of India...but it did get quite cold (maybe it won't seem cold for people who are used to colder climates). It has started getting warmer here in the last couple of days though.

The weather here is so unpredictable lately, the sun will show and then later on hides. The wind chill are still the same, I was not used to having shirt covering me when inside the house but now I need to put some because of the cool winds blowing..

Seems like your under the weather too raijin just like I have been for the past few days. The sun has been shining too and it's been hard not being able to get out and about to enjoy it. However today, its Saturday here now, we decided it was best we went outdoors to get some fresh air. We went for a walk and ended up at a park so our son could have a play. I did feel a lot better though. Hope you get better soon :)

Our garden...covered in Manitoba snow - This photo was taken in March 2007. Our lush summer garden is sleeping under a deep blanket of snow that probably won't be gone until sometime in April...as long as we don't get any more.
Hi...I know you posted this a month ago...but I couldn't help wondering what temperature feels cold to you? As you know from a discussion I had about the BRRRRR factor in Manitoba we had temps of minus 49 with the wind chill factor. We are heading into March with piles of snow not even beginning to melt and our temperature is around minus 12. Of course we have heat...and lots of blankets! Sorry to hear about your toothache...hope it is better now! So even though the discussion is a month later...it is the first weekend in March...and we are at home...and not planning any outdoor activities. I am waiting for Spring...and being out in the garden...but as you will see from the enclosed photo of the snow in our back yard...it will be awhile yet! Raia

When the temperature here reaches at around less the 30 degrees, wind blowing and less sun then that's cold for us already. Yep, everything's all but right and have been good for me this late!;) No toothaches anymore, I'm enjoying my time going and doing something I enjoy. Take care my friend, hope that spring brings more blessings to you and your hubby..

Weather here is very ironic. It is hot the whole day and cold the whole night. So people, children, most especially easily gets sick. I think, it is the effect of global warming.

I also face the same things in Russia. Russia is famous for its cold temperatures in winters, but this year has started without a snow!! We had no snowfall on New Year, no snow ball fight... so unusual. And now, we have RAIN, because of which everything is melting around, so winter is more like the beginning of spring. I have no idea what's going on, but it's sad, as we all enjoy winter time, proper winter! The other thing is that many people suffer from headaches n' other pain related to weather conditions. I would rather prefer to stay at home to going outside somewhere, trying to have some good time. In truth, i can't imagine what to do right now outside. At the same time i enjoy rain n' snow, don't mind about the so-called 'bad' weather, but still now i more likely would enjoy a light snowfall n' some fresh clean air...

The drastic change in the weather could be the effect of global warming, I know that some weather phenomenon has changed for the worse ever since the breach on the ozone layer was discovered. Let's just hope that people would consider such action in saving our planet, may you have a good day..

Am from the Philippines... Weather here some sort of unpredictable rain shower.. Yesterday its was so warm temperature.. maybe because summer days is about to approach... But just this morning... I felt i don't like to appear in my work place... Since the rain is too heavy... Water from the street over flow... :( Still, its really part of my daily routine to be in my work place 8am... I have no choice but to pack up my things and report as early as 7am...

I'm in Sydney Australia, and it just keeeps raining. It's been raining for well over a week. Some parts have flash flooding. The weather has been bad since late December, when some parts of the state got flooded. I worry cause I"ve got leeks, they moove and I just cann't sleep at nights.People in some of the outer suburbs have roofs covered in tarps due to to earlier hail.At lease we donn't get much hail here.

Three Aussies responding to this post of mine, it seems that you're all experiencing rain all over the country. Let's hope that the weather would be fair tomorrow or the next coming days for all of you, flooding is one that I wouldn't wish to experience here in my place..

It can be hot here at times also, the cold wind we're experiencing came from China. The ice/snow are melting and the wind that came from there goes here, as summer here will start at the end of March up to May..

Nope, cause I live in Tropical Country (Indonesia) so I don't even feel winter season in mine. But I think all of weather situation is depend on us. If we can maintain / save at least in our area, we can at least decrease the effect of global warming. thanks.
