Monopoly World Edition - Vote in your ten favorite cities every day, let's put them in the World Edition

Okay guys, Monopoly is launching a new Here & Now World Edition and is inviting everyone around the world to vote for the greatest cities around the globe. The 22 cities with the highest worldwide votes will make it onto one global Monopoly board. My favorite city best positioned is New York in a 6th place, you get to vote on 10 each day - the same 10 as you wish. Right I forgot the link is http://www.monopolyworldvote.com/en_US/world

I'd love my city, Cardiff, to get in it, but since it's at number 63, I doubt it's going to have a shot! I'll keep voting for it anyway!

I heard Cardiff is beautiful with lots of interesting events like rock concerts and rugby and important football matches. I've been in Bristol, never had the chance to go there thou.

Cardiff is a super city. It's got everything you want but isn't too huge that it's overwhelming. The Bay area is becoming really beautiful with a lovely view and new restaurants. I'd really like to see it represented in the game, especially since it's the capital of Wales. I hope you get to visit one day!

It should be a fair contest, anyhow the voting ends in February and if required they can deal with the results to obtain a significant sortie.

This sounds pretty cool, just have one question, is this going to be sold world wide or only in the US? I think I will vote too, I also like Ney York. In fact I was there 2 weeks ago hehe. ALl the best!

It will be sold worldwide and should begin sale in September in the US and until X-mas 08 in the rest of the world. The Monopoly Dollar will be the currency. At the end of February the results of the voting should be known.

It's good that there are a lot of international cities, not just major US or European cities, so every region can get equal representation.

that is pretty neat! I really don't like big cities so I don't think my vote would be too userful...but it is nice they are letting monopoly fans be involved with the choices!
