How to tweak up the XP---XP seems to be instable

XP seems to be running a bit slow and am getting the error that lass.exe failed at every start up and some times restarts itself

lass.exe is a Trojan. If you get the message that it failed then it probably isn't running but slows the PC down when it tries to start. Go here: http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/lass/ to scan your PC and remove it. Make sure that you have a current version of AV (such as AVG Free from Grisoft), a firewall, such as Zonealarm, and Adaware and SpyBot Search and Destroy, all of which are free and good tools. Be careful that you get SpyBot from Safer Networking: http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html

it is a virus i suggest you download a virus protector like norton you can get it free from a torrent website and can just download avg
