yah, same here because my cousin has this experience that the doctor said that the baby inside here womb is a girl but when the time it was born it was a boy.. maybe if you can really afford the latest technology which is 3D, it's really work coz it can really identify the baby..

it does work i feel, but like all other machines or maybe normal human beings, there might be some glitches here and there. usually it turns out accurate when the babies are boys but if they're girls, then there might be some problems. though i don't think it's the fault of the machine that often. usually it's just that we can't see clearly due to the baby's position. thus, when the doctors say it's a girl, it sometimes turn out to be a boy. but mostly i feel it does work too.

Oh yes I do believe in them. I just had my second ultrasound with my 4th pregnancy and they were able to tell me that I was having a boy. There is no denying that ultrasounds are useful and helpful. Doctors can get all sorts of information from them. I am happy that I had mine.

I think only the doctors can tell the gender by the ultrasound. We can't see anything special from it. As to me, ultrasound is a way to see whether my baby is healthy or not. I don't want to know the baby is a boy or a girl. I like to have a surprise.

I believe in ultrasounding identifying my baby's gender and detecting some congenital abnormalities like heart problems, missing limbs, etc.
I had it 3 times with my last pregnancy because I was afraid that my baby might have been affected with rubella but luckily, she is Ok and my worries were eased a bit before I gave birth because I know my baby was OK inside me.

Yes, I believe ultrasounds are usually correct. I'm sure there are plenty of times when the person reading the ultrasound is wrong, though. This is probably due to the position of the baby. I think they are also extremely helpful. We were able to discover that my baby had stopped growing around my 8th month of pregnancy. He simply didn't have any more room inside of me to grow. I had 1 or 2 ultrasounds per week to check his progress. We ended up inducing labor a week earlier than my due date, and boy was he tiny, 5 lbs, 2 oz. I'm glad we did so, because as soon as he was born, he gained weight like crazy. So, I believe they're pretty acurate and extremely helpful.

An ultrasound is a noninvasive test performed at different times during your pregnancy. Ultrasounds can measure the size of your baby and plot her development. An ultrasound can also help diagnose pregnancies with potential problems.
But your baby's gender can easily be incorrectly identified if the baby is too young or in an awkward position. I remembered the first time I did ultrasound, they told me that I will have a daughter, but the second time, the girl change to a boy. So now, I have a son.
