Parents are now having a hard time coping with the competition with online internet games. Children of all ages seem to be attracted to this. Lately, empirical studies have shown that online games, especially the violent ones, have affected cognitive and behavioral patterns of children. To the mothers out there, or the parents, how do you cope up with this? Are you still able to control children's internet gaming? What are your diversion tactics if there are any?

Aside from our kids - it is us; the parents. I saw everyday a lot of kids on internet cafe engaging in online games. They all seemed to be addicted to it. I am afraid that my kids will be like them, too in the future. It will surely ruin their studies and behavior.

I would like to see on what sites my kids are on. It is always nice to keep kids away from Internet and gaming. Helping kids to have real hobby, may help... I was taking my girl to take all possible after school classes, so she was tired to watch TV or be on Internet.

My husband is the one who plays online games. They are his stress relief. He'd probably just hop on and play the game with them.
