Different Ways

I can see how man can look down on earth and say there is no God but i cannot understand how one can look up in the heavens and be an atheist. I think we are clouded these days in alot of things concerning the spiritual and i think we need to start asking ourselves who is God. Some people believe we all worship the same God despite our different religions? i find that so hard to believe when all our religions conflict and agree and disagree on a number of things. We cannot accept things blindly. I do not believe all ways lead to God...what do you think

I look up into "the heavens" and see sky, clouds, and birds and stars at night. That is what the sky is. Just my opinion.

lol ohh you do...then in conext of what you said there i can say i look at a person and see flesh and bones...no emotions therefore we are insignificant...im sure if you cut into a human body you wont find his emotions?? but they are a very real part of us...I think you should re-assess your opinion...look deeper you just might find something

I disagree with you. Read more about ALPHA & OMEGA. Everything starts and ends with GOD.

i think you missed my point or maybe i wasn't clear enough... I would never doubt the existence of God and i agree with your Alpha and Omega...the Beginning and the End. What i'm disputing is that ALL ways do not lead to God...the question is moreso who do you think is God?? read it over see if it makes sense to you...

It's funny how my point of view is the exact opposite of yours. Whenever I look at my surroundings, the trees, the birds, the people I love, I really wish God existed. But whenever I look at the heavens, the trillions of stars in the vast universe, I feel that why woul the so called God from the scriptures, so high and mighty, care for things so insignificant like human beings. why would god send his son Jesus(from the bible), the prophet Mohammed(Quran) or reincarnate himself as Lord Krishna (in the Hindu Puranas)? I think that the necessity of God arose from human insecurity-the need of the belief that someone is watching over us. With the existence of God comes the existance of the afterlife. I am 18 and I have a long life ahead of me.But when I turn 80, I will have only one big surprise coming at me. Who knows, maybe then I will believe that a traditional god exists. Concerning religions, You are right in the sense that all religions cannot lead to god. Each religion claims to be the only true path to heaven. So you are right, even if one religion among them is right, all of the rest cannot lead to heaven. If all of them are wrong, then none leads to God. Any two cannot be right at the same time. Here is a question, Which religion Does God follow ?

When I look up I see the sky, whatever celestial being that's there (sun, star, moon), I see buildings and I see birds. I do not see 'God'. Nor do I feel that the existence of anything is related to this 'God'. So therefore, I'm atheist. We all have our own different point of view.
