what do you do when you boyfriend dont like ur new best friend

ok i met this gurl and shes really kool.. i mean she is off the chain.. i love this gurl and when i told my boyfriend i was going to hang out with her he got mad and said what ever.. what should i do.. i need friends too. right. or am i wrong..

Well first you'd have to find out why he doesn't like her. Then decide if his reason is a good reason and if it means you shouldn't like her too. He may know something you don't. If his reason is stupid, then tell him to let you have your friends and that's it.

I agre on this one, do some research and find out the cause to him disliking her. I feel that if he doesnt have any good reason to dislike her, he should then mind his own freakin business.

having a friend is not a thing to get jealous of. Better ask your boyfriend regarding his reason why he doesn't like your new friend and give him your reasons too. It's an immature reaction from him. maybe he's insecure.

this is a typical case of jealous behavior and also insecurity of your boyfriend who is most immature..you will have him around long after you say goodbye to your special friend..but he is not thinking this way..friends come and go and few stay for a lenght of time.i would ditch the guy and go with the friend..or vice versa..as the only person who is really going to feel the pain..is YOU

Your right you do need friends. Just make sure she doesn't become priority over your boyfriend. Also try and include him in activities. And if you can branch out have her bring a friend that might get along with your man.
