Do you hate it when someone drives opposite the arrows in a parking lot?

I just came from WalMart and there was a horrific tangle of cars because of a nitwit who was driving up the wrong way of an aisle. This meant that people trying to back out and then drive away coudln't because she was blocking the aisle, and those of us waiting for the parking place of the person backing out couldn't park. Everyone just sat there. The nitwit wouldn't back up or anything!! Does this irritate you as much as it does me or am I just particularly grouchy today?

I just cannot stand this kind of unruly behavior from this unruly and unconcerned morons. That is the reason why I volunteered to regulate traffic and parking daily in the morning in my daughter's school for fifteen minutes. It is so nice to see the improvement now. People who behave like herds need a shepherd always.

That is annoying - the most annoying thing about Walmart is that people can't take a few steps and place carts in the cart return - some leave them right behind or in a space so with a full parking lot you have to pass by empty spaces blocked by carts left by lazy people.

I do not hate it unless it is myself! I have never had a reason to believe that the person went the wrong way out of malice. the person who blocked your path was probably confused and did not know what to do. poor thang.

This goes alone with the question of entitlement. Why did this chick think she could go the wrong way in the parking lot and not ball up traffic espically on a sunday?

Ok I am guilty of driving the wrong way in a parking lot, I have also been the person to swear at the driver who is going the wrong way in a parking lot and surprised me as I was trying to go the right way! LOL. I am starting to pay more attention when I drive in to find a place to park. Lately when I go to back out of a parking space and I look both ways start to pull out and someone always comes racing up behind me they don't even honk they just cruise on by I can't tell you how many times I have almost hit someone because they have surprised me like that. So with that in mind I have made a promise to myself to pay more attention in parking lots before I was always thinking parking lots are just a free for all, we can drive whatever way we want ignore stop signs an all that. Not anymore I am going to take the steps to make my drive into one safer..-Amberina

Oh yes, lol. This absolutely drives me insane! You're not grouchy, I think this drives most of us nutz!! Can't they see the arrows, or is it they just don't care. It's one thing when the aisle has slanted parking and it isn't marked with arrows, but if it's marked, you'd think they would notice that! Makes you wonder...if they can't follow such simple directions, should they even be allowed to drive a car? (Shows lack of common sense too I think.) You see this more and more and you have to wonder what in the world they could be thinking?!

LOL We were just talking about this yesterday. Not only do they drive oppostite of the arrow but they also drive all over the lot, paying no attention to the road. They just drive all over the place.

This really annoys me too, but must admit was guilty in Tesco car park recently myself but that was due to having shopped there for years and suddenly they repainted everything in different directions. I felt embarrassed but a few done it that day for that same reason so I at least I was the only one. The new system does in fact work better as you don't need to pull out of car park at a bend, but through a few of us that day. The other thing that annoys me is that I have a small child and I struggle to find mother and child spaces as they get filled with people with no children. I will not use if I haven't got my little boy with me even though I have a permit pass for it.
