Skirt + Tights... Guys vs. Girls

So many girls find it fashionable to wear a skirt, sometimes a jean skirt, with leggings or tights underneath. Personally, I find it extremely unattractive. If its too cold to wear a skirt w/o tights or leggings, than dont wear one! Especially(!) if it comes with a pair of oversized ugg-ish boots.
Its apple bottom JEANS, boots with the fur...for a reason

With fashion I notice that people are more trend followers than trend setters. I remember going to high school and seeing a certain group of girls wearing ugg boots with mini skirts. I never really understood why you would wear mini skirt in the WINTER! I understand the boots but not the skirt.
