new camera

OK i would like to buy a new camera. I did have a sony A-100 DSLR and Yes i loves it. But in order for the kids this year to get gitfs from santa i had to sell it. I guess i am a mom so you do what you have to. Anyway it took awesome pics again loved it. And i love taking pics of just about anything from the dog to kids and yes to the leaves in my yard on the ground.
What i would like to know is: I love taking pics of the sunsets and i would love to have a camera with the truest color.
You know when you look at the sunset and then you look at the pic most of the time it is so different ( well with my Kodak Easy share it has been) I took some awesome pic of the sunset in KC missouri with the sony and people ask all the time did you fix them so the orange comes out more and i tell them NOPE RIGHT FROM MY CAMERA TO MY COMPUTER. I will put them on my profile when i get home. I dont have them on here right now. i dont store pics on hard drive in laptop.

Have you considered buying an older model? For example the Canon S5 (DSLR like) is very similar to the Canon S3 which is a couple of hundred dollars less. It is only a 6 mp vs 8 mp for the S5. The Canon A530 is right around $100 and is still considered an excellent camera for a point ans shoot. I have had good luck buying a refurbished camera with an extended warranty. I have been able to buy a better camera for the price of a simpler camera.

i would like to start taking pic for MONEY but i have to have a good camera to do that. And as of now i have a Kodak easy share that is 7 mp and i have to have to wait for the pic to process. Now with the Sony that i have had I could take lots of pics in a minute and i love that so the shutter speed. Other then a camera that you just just take snap shots of. If you have to wait you really never get the pic you want.
