I read it last week, and enjoyed it. It was solid but not as great as some of his other novels. The fact that its not very long and its content of humor, made it more enjoyable. Koontz is utterly obsessed with goldens, and it shows immensely in this novel, the overabundance of the reverance for the goldens was the only bothersome aspect of the novel. At its conclusion however I found the reading experience to be delightful. What Im waiting for, is the fourth book in the Odd Thomas series!!!!!
